The Board of Directors of Johore Tin Berhad (“JTB” or “the Company”) wishes to announce that on 7 May 2007, the Company had received a notice of nomination from a shareholder of the Company, Johore Tin Holdings Sdn. Bhd. to nominate Messrs Horwath as Auditors of the Company for the financial year ending 31 December 2007 in place of the retiring Auditors, Messrs Deloitte KassimChan, to hold office until the conclusion of the next Annual General Meeting of the Company at a remuneration to be fixed by the Directors.
The Proposed Change of Auditors is subject to and conditional upon approval being obtained from the shareholders of the Company at the Sixth Annual General Meeting (AGM) to be convened.
The notice of the AGM will be sent to the shareholders of the Company in due course.
